A dead-feeling IGET Bar isn’t always dead. Before you bin it, run through these fixes — most “faults” are fixable in seconds.
1. It blinks when you draw
Blinking usually means the battery is empty or the safety cut-out tripped (some devices pause if you puff for too long). Put it down for 10 minutes and try shorter puffs. If it blinks on every draw near the end of the tank, the battery is finishing — that’s normal.
2. No vapour at all
Check the airflow inlet at the base isn’t blocked by pocket lint or a sticker. Covering it while drawing can also stop the sensor. Try a firm, steady puff rather than a gentle one — activated sensors need airflow to trigger.
3. Weak or muted flavour
The wick may be dry from storage. Rest the device flat for five minutes so liquid re-soaks the coil. Avoid chain-vaping six draws in a row.
4. Gurgling or spitback
Condensation built up in the mouthpiece. Flick the device firmly, mouthpiece-down, over a bin a few times, then wipe the tip.
5. Auto-firing on its own
Rare, but stop using it immediately, put it on a non-flammable surface away from sunlight, and contact the seller — genuine stock comes with support.
6. Very cold or hot day
Temperature extremes change e-liquid thickness. Warm the device in your hands if it’s cold; let it cool if it’s been in a hot car.
7. It tastes burnt
That’s an empty tank, not a fault. Time for a fresh device — browse the full IGET range.
