1. Australian Consumer Law Guarantees

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

A “Major Failure” occurs when the product:

  • Has a problem that would have stopped you from buying it if you had known about it.Lawpath

2. Change of Mind Policy (Voluntary Returns)

Due to strict public health, hygiene, and consumer safety regulations surrounding vaping products, we do not accept returns or offer refunds/exchanges for a change of mind.

Please choose your products, flavours, and nicotine strengths carefully. Once an item has left our warehouse facility, we cannot verify its structural integrity or hygienic safety, and therefore it cannot be restocked.

3. Faulty, Damaged, or Incorrect Items

If your item arrives dead-on-arrival (DOA), breaks due to a manufacturing defect, or is incorrect, please contact us immediately so we can resolve the issue.

  • Reporting Timeframe: Please notify us at info@vapelinkaustralia.com.au within 14 days of receiving your delivery.
  • Required Proof: To process your claim efficiently, please provide your order number, a brief description of the issue, and clear photos or a short video demonstrating the fault or damage.

4. What is NOT Covered by Warranty

We cannot offer a refund or replacement under consumer guarantees if the product problem is caused by:

  • Misuse or accidental damage (e.g., dropping a device, water damage, using the wrong charging cable/block, or stripping threads).
  • Normal wear and tear (e.g., minor scratches, cosmetic fading, or standard battery degradation over time).
  • Improper priming or burnt coils: Vape coils and pods are disposable components. Burnt coils caused by failing to properly prime the coil or dry-firing are not covered by warranty.

5. Return Shipping Costs

  • For Faulty Items: If an item is confirmed faulty or incorrect under the ACL, Vape Link Australia will cover the cost of return shipping. We will provide a pre-paid return shipping label or reimburse your reasonable postage costs.
  • Unconfirmed Faults: If you return a device claiming a fault, and our technician finds the device functions perfectly (or failed due to user error/misuse), you will be responsible for the cost of return shipping to have the item sent back to you.

6. Processing Your Refund or Replacement

Once your return is received at our warehouse and inspected by our team:

  1. We will notify you via email that we have received your item and advise you of the inspection outcome.
  2. If approved under ACL guarantees, your choice of a full refund or identical replacement will be processed.
  3. Refunds will always be issued back to the original payment method used during checkout. Please allow 3 to 7 business days for your banking institution to process the funds.

7. How to Start a Return

Do not send items back to our warehouse without contacting us first, as unauthorized returns cannot be processed.

  • Step 1: Email us at info@vapelinkaus.com with your order number and details of the fault.
  • Step 2: Wait for our customer support team to assess your claim and provide your Return Merchandise Authorisation (RMA) instructions.
