Changing a pod on the IGET Bar Plus takes under a minute once you know the trick. Here’s the clean way to do it.
Step 1: Finish or retire the old pod
Wait until flavour drops off — don’t force a nearly-dry pod, as the last few ml can taste burnt. Set the device on a tissue in case of drips.
Step 2: Pull the pod straight off
Grip the device body firmly and pull the pod directly upward — no twisting needed. It releases with a light click. Keep it upright so any residual liquid stays in the pod.
Step 3: Unseal the new pod
Remove the silicone bung from the base of the fresh pod. Check the contacts are clean and dry — a quick wipe with a tissue is enough.
Step 4: Click it on
Line the pod up and press straight down until it clicks. Give it two minutes before your first puff so the coil fully saturates — this simple habit prevents most burnt first-draw complaints.
Step 5: Take a slow primer puff
First draw should be gentle. If everything tastes normal, you’re done.
